Art You Take
To the Grave
Coffin City Tattoo is Moses Lake's home for custom black & grey, biomechanical, color and fine-line work, plus piercings, from a crew people drive across the state to sit with.

The Portfolio
Pieces We're Proud Of
One shop, real range, from heavy biomechanical realism to clean color and delicate fine-line. Every piece below was done in the chair on Marina Drive.

The one-of-a-kind, freehand demon-hunter style.

The Shop
We're Coffin City,
and We Make It Personal.
We're a custom tattoo and piercing shop on W Marina Drive in Moses Lake. Brad Ryan Payne and the crew, including Issac and Chad, tattoo a little of everything, but heavy black & grey, biomechanical and freehand work are where we live.
The whole idea behind Coffin City is in the name and the motto: the art you carry is the art you take to the grave, so it's worth getting right. We take the time, we draw it up, and we treat first-timers and full-sleeve regulars the same way, like family that walked in the door.
Come in for a custom piece, a small fine-line idea, a piercing, or one of our Friday the 13th flash days. Either way you leave with something done right.
What People Say
“I waited 10 years to find the right artist and the right style. One of a kind, freehand, biomechanical work. I now can say I have the best demon hunter tattoo of all time.”
“They did piercings for both my daughters and my wife. Brad also did a couple tats for them and they look so awesome. I've been debating what I want my combat patch tattoo to look like and after several years I finally made a decision and Brad is going to do it for me.”
“Great artists and chill place to get tattooed. Overall experience is great!”
“Chad does amazing work! Definitely coming back to him! He's super chill and makes the experience fun. Thanks Chad!”
What We Do
From a First Tattoo to a Full Sleeve
Custom Tattooing
Sit down with an artist and build something that's yours, from a quick piece to a full sleeve. Black & grey, color, and freehand all in-house.
Black & Grey + Biomechanical
Heavy realism, skulls, and biomechanical work are a house specialty. The kind of piece people drive across the state for.
Color & Illustrative
Bold, saturated color, neo-traditional, and illustrative designs that hold up for years, not weeks.
Fine-Line & Lettering
Delicate single-needle work, constellations, script, and small meaningful pieces done with a steady hand.
Piercings
We pierce too. Clean, careful, and good with first-timers, the same crew that took care of whole families.
Friday the 13th Flash Days
Our recurring Friday the 13th flash events are a Coffin City tradition, pre-drawn designs at walk-in prices. Doors open early, line forms quick.

Absolutely. Bring photos, sketches, or a rough idea and one of our artists will draw it up and make it work for placement and longevity. A lot of our best pieces start as a freehand idea on the day.
It depends on size, detail, and placement, so the honest answer is we'll quote you once we see what you want. Message or call us with your idea and we'll give you a straight number.
